Hackathon data from the MTA is now available through BigQuery.
You'll need a Google Drive account to access your temporary free BigQuery account (see this doc for easy instructions). AND you'll need to sign up for the Google Group with the associated account. SI Bus Hackathon Data
We're thrilled to inform you that data for this Saturday's Bus Hackathon is live! Please click here to download: http://bit.ly/SIBusData We'll have it pre-loaded on BigQuery and CartoDB on the day of the event.There are three data sets; two from MTA New York City Transit (BusTime data and bus boardings; and a 2009 Travel Survey with trip purposes) and one from the Taxi and Limousine Commission (taxi trips to and from Staten Island). They are intended to inform participant solutions for the hackathon.
